I'm typically against them, but have been impressed with how Arionum implemented them

They had a CPU mining coin, that was being dominated by a single miner with access to free servers. They implemented masternodes to hep decentralize the mining

I only bring it up, because I know there are people mining SnowBlossom on their companies servers and selling for cheap
