hmm. i dont understand this. i have an evo 970 that i have put in a pcie adapter card. benchmark is 2,5 GB/s. but when i mine on this card i am only getting 20 kh/s and glances shows only 550 MB/s being read.
What does the spec say for random reads?
IOPS (4KB Random Read, QD32): 200.000 IOPS (4KB Random Write, QD32): 350.000
ignoring those socialist '.' separators..
$ calc 200000/6 ~33333.33333333333333333333
so 33kh/s is what you can expect at most
which should be about 800MB/s
as for not getting even that much, try running more threads
hmm. ok. 550 mb/s is with 64 threads.
Moar threads!!!
24 kh/s.
but ok. this is not good for mining. :cry:
Sad. Turns out computers barely exist
read the wizard
there is currently only one m.2 drive i recommend
dunno if i cocked up the caching headers, will investigate when sobre, but refresh if need be https://snowplough.kekku.li/wizard/nvme/ A quickstart wizard to help you get started with mining Snowblossom.
(i suppose i’ll need to become an envelope, issoke for headers)
