Updated my 'slightly fancier' Snowblossom website concept: https://snow.tools/ Snowblossom is a simple, scalable & portable cryptocurrency.

everything is very tiny on a mobile, do grab and adapt the few lines of css i have on my pool page
https://snowplough.kekku.li/ A Snowblossom mining pool which tries to do things slow, steady, stable and thorough.

i like that tagline, you should go into or near marketing, if not yet so :P

’portable’ got a good chuckle out of me, sure, cannot deny

but key things: per default do vw as the size unit for fonts and em as the size unit for spacing, only go for pixels for known large desktoppy things verifiably within a @media query

high pixel density desktops are hard to cater to, but as operating systems still cock that up, users are ok with it / do external scaling anyway

Good points, I'll steal some of your CSS. I've used `rem` for about everything (no `px` as far as I know) so it should be rather easy to make that scale a bit nicer.

And hah, marketing. Never. I've just carefully stolen and rephrased some keywords from the wiki.

mostly as the browsers do not expose the physical dimensions of a screen from the EDID

Probably good from a privacy viewpoint, but annoying from a 'nicely working CSS' point.

vw is pretty nice for scaling readability on phones, but all roads lead to rome there

well, webgl does bleed that info
Rotonen
2019-02-13 22:45:56
but not everything does webgl and could only patch that through to css via javascript

so unless everything is in a canvas element, nope
