Cool
Our simple exchange should be up in a week :sunglasses:
Back end is mostly done
Need front end and some additional safe guards
:+1: :+1:
@Fireduck the base coin is SNOW or BTC or ETH
how legit is qtrade?
too many exit scams
@alistar ours will snow <=> BCH only
Just a single pair
i left my node running on my pi and came back to lots of this message:
[2018-08-10 01:48:21] INFO snowblossom.lib.TimeWatcher run Exception in TimeWatcher: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
That is fine
bch great maybe u have many bch to test:smiley:
Low fees, fairly stable price
Plus I know it well to integrate with
what the heck is bch
normal pairs are like doge, btc, ltc, xmr
bch is okay
Using BCH will catch some flack from people.
maybe we set SNOW to be a base coin.
Plus, its an extra step to go through to get Snow
Will be supporting zero conf on both sides
That will be fun
when alpha exchange release? canot wait yo have a try.
Tell clueless to make the front end
I have the backend running on snow and bch testnet
@THX 1138 4EB BCH is bitcoin cash, just a starting point
BCH? Seriously? That’s really weird tbh.. I would’ve expected BTC @alistar ours will snow <=> BCH only
Or ETH maybe but BCH, hell no
Disappointing choice imo
What’s the expectation for BTC pair after launch?
bch is okay
@bottob88 To be clear, BCH isn't a stance for against or whatever, it's just a coin we're more familiar with implementing at the moment.
i love run a Snow bases exchange
Thanks @Clueless
And yeah @alistar me too but I don’t have BCH and I’m not buying it either (don’t like what they stand for)
@Clueless haha, when frontend ready?
An old computer Computing power 2.7M
COOL
what is "old computer" ?
i am considering to buy a HP-ProLiant-DL580-G7-Server-4-x-Xeon-10-Core with 160 GB for 860€.
maybe if bitcon is over 8000$ again.
AMD 6276 X4
DELL815
nice
My 256gb space heater is heating my basement
4 channels per socket and 4 sockets? i’ve speculated one gets about 200kH/s per channel on current hardware, so with 16 channels that’d be 3,2MH/s, so 2,7MH/s is reasonable for older hardware
if so, happy to be validated on that
i speculate these kinds of things on my ’wizard’ no one can find since my webdesign fails ’what is a link’ https://snowplough.kekku.li/wizard/ram/ A quickstart wizard to help you get started with mining Snowblossom.
nvme goes further when one starts doing stuff like this: https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/hotstorage16/hotstorage16_kim.pdf
not something i’ll put on a newbie oriented guide, though
