Working on client improvements
hi, i start mine snow, Which snow field that i should download now? Thank
7
@stoner19 thank you.
Which pool has the highest computational power
i think right now it is http://VAUXHALL.IO
but no pool has fancy stats like hamsterpool. http://snowblossom.hamster.science :hamster::yum:
thank you
@fydel lies, I have fancy stats
fight the others
we are underdogs anyways. i am the only miner on my pool.
i dont understand why people mine on pools with zero stats.
and i have bad luck. no block for a long time.
snowflake has two fifths of the hashrate, whoever they are
none of the pools has a good interface imo
they seem to use common templates
a lot of pools look the same as theses
you are correct.
@THX 1138 4EB waiting on RPC elements. regardless user friendliness isn't the goal right now.
@THX 1138 4EB suggest creating an issue where you make suggestions of what you'd like to see.
My plan is to work on client stuff this week
i am switching to http://VAUXHALL.IO now.
what a sad day for the hamsterworld.
the variance is killing me.
yeah, I hear you
Start praying for hamsterworld
no need for prayers. we are dead. :hamster: :skull_and_crossbones:
but you can still enjoy hamster stats
Anyone know who snowflake is?
@fydel love the stats
he is not a hamster.
@Fireduck 20 min of "work". just using the stats from shakleton and putting them into munin.
it is embarrassing easy.
i could train my hamster to write munin plugins.
What is the best way for a program to export stats for something like that?
I'd like to add support for that sort of thing to Arktika
json i think or plain text
curl -s http://85.10.197.3:8080 | html2text | grep "estimated network hash rate" | cut -d: -f 2 | cut -dM -f 1
i mean this is not rocket science. it is quick and dirty hamster science. :hamster: :stuck_out_tongue:
you have to put zero brain into it and you have greatest stats.
ah, I see someone other than me just plays games with cut
sometimes if I want the last element of a path I do:
|rev|cut -d "/" -f 1|rev
remember me from #electrum and hsmiths?
yeah
best tool
hsmiths put the munin stats to another level.
i have to calm down now.
i am getting overexcited when i talk about munin.
you are a little bit crazy. Come to my house if you are ever in Seattle.
sure. i would like to take care of your pet pigs and have a walk with them.
the pigs went to a pig sanctuary
oh nooo. this coin is dead.
why?
mini pigs are a lie
they got too big
when I couldn't pick them up any more they got a bit hard to handle
especially while wife pregnant and soon to have a baby
so had to give them up a while ago
that's why i am a hamster enthusiast.
they are like little dogs.
looks like an accident waiting to happen to me
sitting on an £80 pair of headphones is distressing enough
hamsters are good people.
i prefer a pet you can only kill if you're sure you want to
i stepped on my dog's paw once and that felt pretty bad but if i did that with a hamster i'd also have stained the carpet
you dont know hamsters.
not much bigger than a dog's paw :stuck_out_tongue:
oh plain name. i have to delete it.
bunny > dog > cat > pig > hamster
actually... hamster > pig probably
less of a hassle... but also less meat if you decide you are done with it
