that’s how trading works, it takes two to tango

@fydel it's worth whatever people are willing to pay for it.
On that exchange, it's that, in person it may be something else.
Because there's not much volume now, it's extremely volatile and it'll change easily with anyone's opinion.
Versus a coin with a lot of volume, because there'll e a lot of history to rely on for worth.

100 people trading bitcoin at $6500 you can be relatively certain it's worth about $6500
1-2 people trading snowblossom at $0.25 or $5, it's worth is volatile and whatever they say it is.

i’d not call prices or valuations on such low volumes

essentially random and the ask price expectations are a very wide spectrum

but without volume, trading seems dead and those will never get tested, so fir now, for me, seeing volume pick up is a happy thing
Rotonen

next up is to see if volume sustains or if that was a single burst
Rotonen
2018-10-16 17:22:36
volume draws in buyers and that drives the market onwards

You might say, "You can only buy what's on that exchange for $0.25 each"

that’s not how order books work, though
