Why would you pay to be listed on an exchange?

The exchange charges people for using that currency, they literally make money by supporting more, why would I pay them directly to support more?

Only air coins are needed

there are loads of exchanges that will list a coin for free including altex, tradeogre and maplechange

they're free of course because they're small exchanges
