They prey on children in horrible and obscene ways. • Destroys Culture: Advertising capitalizes and bastardizes ideas that don't belong to them. In effort to manipulate you and your beliefs, they will use the things you care about in your life to trick you and bias you. They will abuse your liking and favorite memories. Destroying all meaning to what you hold dear and important in life. • Risks Security: Advertising has consistently brought security risks to masses of computers through ad networks. Ad networks have brought injections and malware straight into everyone's computers. They don't care about you. • Malware: Adware is out of control. It inserts itself everywhere it can, including in your installations and attempting to hijack what you see and hear. Running malicious software you didn't approve of on your computers. • Steals Energy: When you go to a website, any content that advertises is stealing energy to play their advertisements. • Steals CPU: When you play advertisements, especially without your knowledge, they are stealing your processing power, slowing your computer down. Many websites are slow. • Steals Bandwidth: Advertisements, videos, music, whatever, it takes time and bandwidth to download, slowing down your computer and your experiences online. • Steals Time: Advertising demands you view it, using up precious moments and hours of your life. It steals your time and they act like you owe them everything. • Steals life: That time spent advertising to you is dangerous. Loud, blaring, obnoxious, intrusive advertisements are mind numbing, tedious, tiring, and eat away at your senses and mind. They are dangerous, long, and targetted. • Litters: No one wants ads. We keep getting them in the mail. So much trash is produced because of these thieves and entitled evil corporations. • Kills Trees: Paper kills trees. Ads take up the most paper out of probably anything in the world. • Clogs communication: Mail is tedious. emails are filled with spam, mail is filled with spam. It's impossible to seriously sort your mail and have any real alert system, because there is so much spam clogging everything Even worse, the postal service is bogged down, time wasted, and pushed to the bring by spam. • Censors our News: AD networks have grown large enough to threaten organizations. Forcing them to show only certain types of content to their liking. This creates an environment of censorship for content providers. • Censors our media: ^^ • Political: All of the above is often abused to push political agenda, subverting our democracy and trickingpeople into voting in ways that hurt them.
