@Clueless I kind of doubt your PR to SLIP-0044 will get accepted, I don't think they appreciate testnet index claims and expect you to just use `1`.

Same for channels: `Coin types will be added only if there is a wallet implementing BIP-0044 for desired coin.`

@Fireduck there was an interesting talk about quantum proof signature algorithms at the 35c3

Are you willing to add signatures based on one of the most promising candidates like HQC(http://pqc-hqc.org/) or CSIDH as a SIP?
mjay

Are they in the PQE process?
Fireduck
2018-12-31 16:43:23
Yeah they are
Fireduck
2018-12-31 16:43:54
I am watching that process
Fireduck

My plan was to look closely at things that got into round two

Most of them dont have a java implementation yet, it might involve some effort
mjay
2018-12-31 17:25:24
Maxium effort!
Fireduck
2018-12-31 17:26:14
Yeah and I'm not sure how quickly the bouncy castle guys will be on implementing it in Java
Fireduck
2018-12-31 17:26:33
I used bouncy castle for all the other things so I prefer to continue to use them and they'll probably do it it's just a question of timing

seed based wallets are going well
Fireduck

Anyone want to be brave?
Fireduck

lollll, with testnet, sure
Clueless

I need to add unit tests
Fireduck
2018-12-31 21:41:18
and the import mechanism is kinda silly
Fireduck
2018-12-31 21:41:38
since it will always generate a new seed on new wallet load
Fireduck
2018-12-31 21:41:43
and then you import your old one
Fireduck
2018-12-31 21:41:47
and now you have two seeds
Fireduck
