Hey all. Do we have any kind of informal timeframes associated with the project? I realise we're a while away from formal road maps, etc - but has any time been spent looking at the big picture, or are we simply battering into the technical side of things, and to hell with everything else, for the foreseeable future?
Clueless is always trying to get me to agree to a roadmap for features
as @Fireduck answers only to @Fireduck - what’d be the point?
haha
I'd say development is about 50% doing whatever I think is a good idea to about 50% reactive to what people are asking for/complaining about
(assuming I also think those requests or complaints are valid)
if people want snowblossom to do things they want out of it, they just do it themselves, with the caveat of @Fireduck having a veto right on github
I am pretty open to pull requests
i’m personally enjoying this way too much, the majority of people are assuming this is by a startup
In a very limited set of things, in which cryptocurrency backends falls nicely, I am outstandingly productive on my own
thus all the corporate mindset framed questions around marketing, pr, listings, roadmaps
Assuming I can pick the tools and technologies
and trying to be helpful via foreshadowing ’you (a company) will get nowhere this way’
i’m pretty sure most of these folks are just hopeful of short term unsustainable gains by the corporate hype machine
and it is very hard to convince people there is no hype machine
sure. I wouldn't mind that, but if that were my goal I'd do a lot of things very differently
or maybe it is a super sneaky anti-hype machine
like having incorporated, premined, etc.
i think a lot of people silently are hoping on that, yes
but, please do put an FAQ up covering this meta side of things
yeah, probably smart
it might be too many years since there was a new tech first open source coin
myth became legend etc.
It is a fun project. I wish I could quit my job and work on it full time.
