What miner are you using, arktika?

The meltdown patches cost a lot of performance, maybe you installed these?

If it´s the E7-4870 you got, do you have enough modules to run all memory channels?

I am using the pool miners with all right now. I checked that I haven't installed the meltdown patches and it appears I haven't. I am running kernel 4.4.0-87. I'm running the HP DL580 G7 with X7560 processors and an HPDL380 G6. The G7s have 4 GB modules in every DIMM for 256GB. The G6 has run at 800 K/s before but now runs at about 450 K/s without changing any settings. When I ran the G6 in arktika mode, it's hash was in the 450 K/s range.

if you’re looking at what the pools report, those are essentially bogus and best guess random

if you’re having a factor of two dip according to the miner, yeah, something is off

and arktika is going to be network limited as well

@aikida3k are all QPI links active or does it boot in "degraded mode"? Its shown on bootup. One of mine had this issue, it was a tiny spec of dust in one of the CPU sockets

Also, is the "migration/xx" process using up CPU time?

The X7560 is one generation older and has "only" 8 cores each, clock speed is also a little lower. I´d expect it will yield somewhere around 2.2Mh/s
